The aim of the renovation project was to preserve and emphasize aspects of mimicry that characterize the current building: the project’s purpose is to reduce the difference in perception between inside and outside, allowing nature to get as much as possible inside the architecture. In order to create a connection and a greater integration between the two volumes, it was introduced a sunscreen element, anchored on one side of the terrace, which allows not to see the tables from outside. To achieve the shading and protection elements it was decided to use a single common language. The obtained effect is of extreme permeability of surfaces which nevertheless maintain a strong harmony with the wooden structure
